The Riviera (colloquially, "the Riv") was a hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip which operated from April 1955 to May 2015. Liberace cut the opening ribbon and became the first resident performer. It was home of the "Crazy Girls" and the Starlight theater. This landmark was featured in numerous films including the original "Oceans 11," "Diamonds Are Forever," "Casino," "Vegas Vacation," "Showgirls," "The Hangover," and many more.
